The Curious Child Return & Refund Policy


Definitions and key terms

To help explain things as clearly as possible in this Return & Refund Policy, every time any of these terms are referenced, are strictly defined as:

Cookie: small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your web browser. It is used to identify your browser, provide analytics, remember information about you such as your language preference or login information.

Company: when this policy mentions “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to The Curious Child, that is responsible for your information under this Return & Refund Policy.

Customer: refers to the company, organization or person that signs up to use The Curious Child Service to manage the relationships with your consumers or service users.

Device: any internet connected device such as a phone, tablet, computer or any other device that can be used to visit The Curious Child and use the services.

Service: refers to the service provided by The Curious Child as described in the relative terms (if available) and on this platform.

Website: The Curious Child’s site, which can be accessed via this URL: www.thecuriouschild.co.uk

You: a person or entity that is registered with The Curious Child to use the Services.


Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for purchasing a play experience at The Curious Child. As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at The Curious Child. By purchasing a ticket for a play experience at The Curious Child, you agree to the terms set forth below along with Policy. As a standard rule, we do not allow refunds or exchanges. However, we understand that children frequently become ill and there may be times when you cannot attend your play event due to illness. In this instance, the following refund or exchange will be given:

If you need to cancel your space with more than 48 hours notice, we will give you a 50% refund initially. If we are able to fill your space, a full refund (the remaining 50%) will be given. If you need to cancel your play session with less than 48 hours notice, we will endeavour to fill your space in order to give you back a full refund, but be aware that this may not be possible with short notice. If we cannot re-sell your ticket, we will not be able to offer a refund, but will offer you a 50% reduction for your next visit.

If there’s something wrong with the ticket you bought, or if you are not happy with the play experience you had, please email thecuriouschildbath@gmail.com.

Sadly, there are times when we may have to cancel your order. In this instance, you will be refunded fully.

TICKETS PURCHASED ON THE 1ST APRIL AND THEREAFTER WILL BE SUBJECT TO OUR NEW REFUND POLICY:

If you need to cancel your ticket (or are unable to attend a play session) and we can re-sell your ticket (this means the session is sold out and we are able to open another space to cover the cost of your ticket), we will give you a full refund.

If we are not able to re-sell your ticket, you will be offered a 50% discount coupon to be used against your next purchase. This will be for the same number and type of tickets as originally purchased.

By using our website or making a purchase, you hereby consent to our Return & Refund Policy and agree to its terms.

Changes To Our Return & Refund Policy

Should we update, amend or make any changes to this document so that they accurately reflect our Service and policies. Unless otherwise required by law, those changes will be prominently posted here. Then, if you continue to use the Service, you will be bound by the updated Return & Refund Policy.
